More Kyoto

Kyoto has several historical walks. I strolled along some and saw some beautiful sights.
Like this gigantic Live Oak
This is a river in Kyoto that people were biking and sitting round.
The Heian Temple entrance.
I then hopped on a bus and went to Ginkakuji ( silver) Temple, which apparently never got its silver coat. The temple itself wasn't very I interesting, but t is focus for its dry garden.
The gravel is meant to look like water.
The other beautiful things were a mini waterfall, the moss, and a lady with a cat in a sling. My mom would have loved this cat especially it's gigantic eyes.
The temple itself was aging but they had a display of the roof construction that I thought was quite interesting.
